In this presentation, I analyse the claims of critics who allege that verse 5:32 of the Qur’an, which discusses the sanctity of human life, was plagiarised from the Mishnah, specifically tractate Sanhedrin 5.4. I examine both texts in detail to expose the serious flaws in this argument. Additionally, I highlight several key observations that have been overlooked by these critics and discuss their significance.
