Tariqa or Sufism is the Qur’anic way which was followed and taught by Prophet Muhammad (salla Allah ta‘ala ‘alayhi wa sallam). This book explains briefly and in simple language the spiritual reality of Tariqa, showing that it is the core of Islam. The book is an introduction to the history, thought and practices of the Sufi School Tariqa ‘Aliyyah Qadiriyyah Kasnazaniyyah (Tariqa Kasnazaniyyah).

As seen from their biographies, the Shaikhs of Tariqa Kasnazaniyyah followed in the footsteps of their Master the Prophet Muhammad (salla Allah ta‘ala ‘alayhi wa sallam), applying his words and emulating his deeds. Allah has, therefore, honored them with powerful adhkar (forms of remembrance of Allah) that purify the seekers hearts from all spiritual diseases and guide them on the shortest way to Allah, the way of Tariqa Kasnazaniyyah.

The process of having Bay‘a (pledge) in Tariqa Kasnazaniyyah is explained in the book in detail. It is the same procedure of Bay‘a that the early Muslims had hand in hand with the Prophet (salla Allah ta‘ala ‘alayhi wa sallam) and which Allah described and praised in the Qur’an.

The book contains brief biographies of Shaikhs of Tariqa Kasnazaniyyah. It also presents the unique adhkar of Tariqa Kasnazaniyyah with sufficient details to enable the follower of the spiritual path of Tariqa Kasnazaniyyah to perform these adhkar properly and reap their spiritual benefits.

This book is simply about how to put your hand in the hand of the Prophet (salla Allah ta‘ala ‘alayhi wa sallam), surrender to him, and let him lead you on the shortest spiritual journey to Allah.
