Qur’anic Universal Justice: Enemies, Relatives, & Everyone

The Qur’an uncompromisingly mandates profound universal justice. Through key Qur’anic verses, I examine how divine justice applies equally across three vital dimensions of human relationships:

• 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐞𝐬: Personal enmity or hatred must never prevent a believer from being fair and equitable (al-Māʾida 5:8).

• 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 & 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬: Truth and fairness take precedence over personal inclinations, kinship, or social standing (al-Nisāʾ 4:135 & al-Anʿām 6:152).

• 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞: The Qur’an establishes a clear framework of kindness and fair treatment toward all people without discrimination (al-Mumtaḥina 60:8).
